If you get them, you get 4 of them per order. You can try 1 or 2 in each ear cup. I prefer one.
will do, in most cases treble is perfect. On few songs yeah it can get up there.

Ok, took my TH900 out and about in busy Hong Kong. Walked through crowded side walks, jumped in a few crowded buses, walked in three different trains wearing the TH900. It feels huge, like two huge home woofers on my head. Stick pads I can hear people around me (HK is loud at all times) but music still able to sound sweet. People dont look at other people in HK, never will one look eye to eye and noone stared at my shinny red head phone. Its not a hot day, many wearing sweters but I am feeling my ears getting warm. My rig is : Cowon P1 , Headstage Arrow 5TX, Stock TH900.

i'm surprised that you could hear any music surrounded by that din. attenuation of outside noise is not one of the th900's strengths.

I agree but it sounded better than the: T1 , 5TP, and P7. Big issue is storing it in my back pack when not in use.

One day someone will make tiny headphones that are basically just a wire with a tiny speaker on the end and some soft rubber or foam tip so you can stick the tiny speaker in your ear and block out most of the noise. They will store really well in tiny cases that you can even put into your pocket

One day.

I had 12 custom iems and over 30 universal iems. In no way can they match the sound but, they do isolate very well. The Beyerdynamic DT1770 isolates as good as most CIEMS but, the TH900 sounds better. Yes when train gets very crowded the lack of isolation is obvious. My 3 hrs outside with the TH900 was challenging. I got 2 solid hours of great uninterrupted sound (uninterupted by noise from the train or the crowd).

I stand and lucky most in HK have earbuds in their ears. Yeah if only Fostex had a better clamping and a better pad for on the go. The Beyer doesnt leak. I sit in a bus and my wife said she cant hear anything.

I can clearly hear my fiancee if she's on the phone or watches TV in the same room when I'm listening to TH900s. Can't imagine what it would be like to wear them in public.

Ok I used the MK2 with Lawton pads and it does provide a slight better isolation.

How tough is it to get drivers replaced on a th900? I listen to loud music with lots of bass and I think I blew the left one. And I bought it from a guy who bought it from razordog and I emailed them but got no response yet. I think it's around 2.5 years old and I think the warranty is 2 years?

Is it worth messing with? It started sounding like something was loose and now it's crackling
