On the right side, 3cm beside the "R"

Those are the standard pads or the Lawton ones (look like the latter to me)?

Shah,

Better than the B22?  How is the power swing on the Dynahi?  That's a beast of an amp for sensitive headphones..

Yes, definitely better than the Beta. Though, I feel that way about the Dynahi with all headphones.

Do you have both? if not, what's the voltage output of yours?

I had a GS-1 DACT (Dynalo) before, but now only the Dynahi. I'm extrapolating from my experience with the Hi that the TH900 will sound great on the Lo. The GS-1 shared a family resemblance with the Hi and both have enough power for the TH900.

And I can confirm that the TH-900+GS-X is a fantastic combination. Very tight, quick and transparent. Sometimes I forget that they're closed headphones.

Thanks, this is as expected by the impedance of the TH900 and the specs of the Dynalo.

Seems the cable is slightly different (on paper), and with the different cups the TH-600 is only 30 grams lighter than the TH-900.

I think the pads and headband are still the same thing?

Yea, though just going back to what I said about the Dynahi vs Beta22 for the TH900. The Hi has more speed, impact, energy and transparency. The Beta has more bass, a larger soundstage (a bit distant) and a smoother/darker sound. Both are good, but the Hi sounds more involving and accurate, while the Beta sounds more liquid and forgiving. I switch back and forth between both amps these days depending on my mood, but the Dynahi remains my favourite amp overall.

The Violectric V200 provides the necessary (to me) sound tuning the TH-900 really needs to be a natural headphone. :)
