If the two Mercedes driver keep this up then Ricciardo might really have a shot on the title..

I'd love to see that Ricciardo as WDC Botas as second runner up:)

Meanwhile. Sure appears that the Scud did some work over the break. Alonso and Kimi's cars almost looked stable at Spa rather than each corner trying to go in it's own direction.

Often, ruthlessness is what it takes to win a title.. Many champions of the past won the title without being fair & square.

The game has evolved some since dirty tricks were tolerated. F1 is a mighty small circus troupe to be messing with, and getting tagged as a dirty driver is a very career limiting move in this modern arena.

Yeah I've read the news, and I assume everyone here have read it too. But I still question what point was Rosberg trying to make with the shunt..

I think that Rosberg is trying to tell Hamilton that he is not the "gentleman racer" that Hamilton keeps trying to everyone that he is, maybe there is a bit of the "street fighter" about him that Hamilton needs to be more aware of.....or, Maybe he is hungrier than Hamilton after all?

Great, a psychopath behind the wheel of an F1 car. That'll spice up the season.

I don´t think you can take Hamiltons comments for actual quotes.
Nico don´t say anything https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDY7Sm2osEw

Well, would you say anything after getting your ass chewed out behind closed doors?  And think, for Merc it's not about the Driver's Champs, it's about the Constructor, and he just made it harder for the both of them, and for the team.  Now there's some emotional baggage underlying and more things to think about that they don't need to be.

Piled on top the Monaco Quali BS.

why would he admit that it was intentional?

why would he admit that it was intentional?

It may be that he sees his choice as either a) Nico is willing to hit Lewis to make a point, or b) Nico is incompetent and hit Lewis by accident, and prefers the former. That said, every reliable source I've seen has only confirmed that Nico admitted that 'he could have avoided the incident but did not', which while shocking enough is not the same as saying he hit Lewis on purpose in any premeditated way ala Senna 1990. In modern F1 if he really admitted that he hit his rival for the world title on purpose to take him out I can't imagine he wouldn't be disqualified from the championship like Schumacher in '97, so I really doubt he said that as such.
