For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

The heat is not so bad tonight, so I can finally put headphones on my head again, without it both melting within minutes 😅

Had no issues selecting what I wanted to hear, as this one arrived a few days ago 💿

Picked the HD600's over the HD1000's because... Well I don't really know why, but it just felt like a Sennheiser evening :)

Sony 338ESD to Aune S17 Pro, running the HD600.

Emapea - Seeds, Roots & Fruits
(The physical copy has a 17th bonus track on the main CD, and a 8 track "Bonus Beats" CD as well. None of which is found in any of the digital copies I have seen! Now the CD version feels even more special 🤘)

I’ve had the HD650 for years. The HD600 are equally great. Just with a slightly different sound signature.

With Teeth (2005) by Nine Inch Nails - Back to NIN and their fourth studio album, not as "out there" as it's predecessor, The Fragile but possibly a closer follow up to The Downward Spiral. My current favourite tracks are The Hand That Feeds and Every Day is Exactly The Same, two very strong examples of Reznor's multi-edged talents as a writer, artist and producer. It's a loud and angry record, possibly because he was going through rehab while writing it but there again, Reznor wouldn't be Reznor without a double dose of anger. Dave Grohl sits in on drum duties for six of the tracks, Reznor does everything else himself. It surprises me how well the HD800S take a 4.5db bass shelf filter, it fills out the lower end very nicely and it's hard to believe that many people think of them as bass light.

HiBy R8II + Qobuz + Empire Ears Raven (AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC) + Astral Acoustics Pulse 🐦‍⬛ 🖤

I was a teenager in the 90’s and I remember getting this album in one of Columbia House’s 10 CD’s for $1 mail in order promos.
Still one of my favorite Alt/Grunge rock albums of all-time.
