I've spent the majority of the last 2 months on my Stax setup, so right now I am on my Schiit Midgard -> Sennheiser HD800 (no mods)

These came with the SDR mod, I removed it and noticed the soundstage is bigger without it. People complain about the "6k peak".........so I used an Equalizer APO profile that lowers the 6k region a bit..........problem solved. No need to ruin the original character of the headphone with a mod.

Mystery to Me was the last album with both Bob Welch and Bob Weston on guitar, before they were replaced by Stevie Nicks on vocals and Lindsay Buckingham on guitar. The song Hypnotized is one of my favs from this band, very ethereal sounding. I like these older versions as they were not as commercialized and over played.

Thank you! They do look nice despite of the creaking headband, which seems like a common issue with this model.

Cable is a Forza Audioworks Noir Hybrid HPC with a 4.4mm plug. I was using a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter with the N8 dap.
