Focal Bathys. Got them to replace my Senn PXC550's I use for travel. Haven't experienced them enough yet for a full description but I can tell you I put the Senn's away for good.

Feeling goosebumps all over my body, with tears in my eyes... Listening to "Yo-yo Ma plays Ennio Morricone"... Now I'm realising how fool I was to keep, for a long time, the HD 800 inside their box...

Now I have to pull out my hd800 because Susvara was glued on my head.

Yes, during my interesting head-fi period (firstly provocated due to COVID restrictions), I have experimented the Sony Z7s' warmth, the Denon 9200s' bass and the DT 1990 Pro's multigenre capabilities (among some other headphones I tried for shorter periods of time) but nothing comparable with the HD 800 naturalness (for me)... Maybe a HD 800 with 9200s' bass would be "near perfection" to me.

I'm now listening to Ennio Morricone's The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. :relaxed: Will see whether HD800 or Susvara plays better on this track.
