While on my head I brushed it against a wood table and the headphone came out without a scratch? So maybe the wire mesh is something good?

It sure looks robust enough to shrug off minor scrapes and bumps.

When I had both the Audeze LCD-4 and ZMF Ori (among others), I kept going back for the Ori. Now with an LFF Code-6 (modded HiFiMan HE-6) and ZMF Ori (among others), I still choose the Ori. This thing is hard to beat at any price point unless all I listened to was classical and maybe jazz, it's still good for both of those though.

Whaddya know, my current collection includes the Audeze LCD-4, Sennheiser HD 6XX, ZMF Ori, ZMF Blackwood, and I had a HiFiMan HE-560 not too long ago, and out of all of those the only ones I ever want to listen to are the ZMF Ori and Blackwood. Right now, Ori.

For the past 2 weeks I've been listening with a modded Grado SR325. This is an early SR325 (early 90's) that had been modded before I purchased them. I replaced the drivers with a pair of Symphones Magnum V8 drivers and this headphone came to life!
