For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

I can remember buying Meatloaf's bat out of hell on cassette when it was first released. Studied that cover art for countless hours 🥸

Ah not that old 😊 ole enough to fully experience the 80s and 90s, lucky you!
If you are talking music, now is so much better! And next year will be so much better again.

The music of that time is all still here and so much more accessible.

The only thing you cannot relive is the live concert experience.

Nice write-up 😀! However 🫤, I’m waiting to see what Davidzak & Jada can do with the album art …. 😂.

Jada's always up for doing requests. 😉 Especially for a great album like Hemispheres. 👍
She's sporting her RS-1 buttons. 😍

[Enja: September, 1981.] This is a lesser known excellent album by Freddie Hubbard - with Kenny Barron (p), Buster Williams (b), and Al Foster (d). An overall ‘quiet’ yet searing and turbulent set by the quartet. I could not help but think that were Freddie Hubbard et al with the ECM label of Manfred Eicher, they would sound like this. The album cover, too, has an ECM mood.

Robbie Robertson (1987) by Robbie Robertson - I was all ready to continue my Rush playthrough when I heard the news that Robbie Robertson had died. So it was a quick changeover of gear and headphones and on to Amazon Music HD for some quality RR tunes. Out of those I played, this, his debut solo album stands out as something of a classic and sounds great through the Sennys

RIP Robbie Robertson 1943-2023
