For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Ballads Of The Broken (2021) by Jelly Roll - According to Wikipedia, his genres listed are Hip Hop, Country Rap, Country Rock, Country and Southern Hip Hop. Hmmm, I don't like Hip Hop or Rap, neither of which I am finding much evidence of and am thoroughly enjoying this album. Whatever it is, I like it and Jelly Roll has one hell of a voice, smooth with a little grit when called for. Judging by his back catalogue, I have a LOT of listening to do but I'll get there - unsurprisingly, this sounds ridiculously good on the RS-1x.
Which tube in Vali 2 ?

[Blue Note: October, 1964.] Fourth outing by Wayne Shorter for Blue Note: among his best. Great playing, great accompaniment, great cohesion!

An Icon Audio HP8 is my end game target - maybe after the Hemp and possibly a Neumann NDH 30

I can't listen to 'Threshold' without also listening to 'Children's Children' and vice versa. They're both sides of a single coin for me.

Clapton (2010) by Eric Clapton - He may not be as fast as he was but he's still makes his guitar sing. If there's one thing the RS-1x have done to my listening habits, it's to appreciate the quieter stuff more and this album sounds rather good to say the least.

My old iPhone X - ifi Diablo - AuR Audio Neon Pro (10 x BA).

I won this album (vinyl - pre CD) on a radio station competition when it was released in 1979 at the age of 12. Probably still sitting at my mum’s home somewhere in a wardrobe.

Not a massive Led Zeppelin fan but this is a great album that sounds excellent on the Diablo/Neon Pro combo.

Hifiman Sundara, their clearity is driving me insane!
i resently bought a meze 109 pro touight they where a nice upgrade, but they distort really bad at higher volumes. i dont get this
also the bass hits verry different on the sundaras. i would say tighter and more controable

They should not be distorting at "listenable" levels. Check you amplification is sufficient or the headphone is not broken.

i cant put them at the same level of volume as my sundaras goes. specaily in heavy metal tracks the mezes tend to hurt me as a dac/amp i use a fiio k5 pro so i should have enough power to drive them

I have owned the sundara, but not the meze, so i'm guessing a little....
but I would be surprised if any reasonably proficient modern headphone, that is working correctly, should be audibly distorting at high volumes, Insane volumes, perhaps.

ps the sundara are a great headphone for metal :)

i am wondering what next step would be great to them no matter the price right now. i am just thinking. the mezes kinda aren't what i tought they would be. i am thinking alot about the He1000 in the future. when i get some money left again
