This morning I have the Audeze MM-500s running off the GS-X Mini with the R26 decoding all the details from the optical output on my Wiin Mini.

On the top of the queue is a 2001 groovy fusion masterpiece, Dennis Chamber's Cab 2. The whole album isbpacked with great drumming and excellent work all around, but the precisely timed and executed grooves have to be considered the star of the show here. In the first track, Decisions, the bassist and drummer trade off in a grooving deul that's a must hear!

Hell yeah! Whoever convinced you to bass mod those K702s should be your best friend because he clearly is an audio and headphone expert.

I saw him many times with Mike Stern, Brecker Brothers, Niacin but unfortunately never with Tony McAlpine or Brian Auger in CAB. That was a very great Fusion Band with in credible interplay of all musicians. Too sad that the "Fusion Hype" is over since the mid of 90is and many of this great Bands no more exists. The most releases of the past years in that genre are quite boring and will never reach the quality of this Bands.

Sprung for the Abyss AB1266 Phi TC, so I guess I'm listening to them a lot now. After listening to them, I'm not sure that the folks who don't like them were listening to them on amps that could properly drive them. Because they sound pretty incredible and I'm not missing out on the midrange. Actually, it's right there and detailed and very musical. Happy camper! Listening to them with the HeadAmp GS-X MkII (6W) and the HEADA (2W). The DAC is the Mojo Audio Mystique X SE.

Someone very handsome, with great hair, and with very good taste! Although the modification became much more drastic weeks later, maintaining that magnificent airy and spacious presentation. I am addicted to these, at the level of my favorite buds!
