Edit: enjoyed that so much I'm relistening to the whole thing but with rs2e's, in part to remind myself where the extra cash went.

These are ridiculously good headphones. Near the beginning of "gazzeloni" I had the distinct impression that Eric had just gently spat into my left ear!.... In a good way

The Power And The Glory by Gentle Giant - R.I.P. Ray Shulman 1949 - 2023. Ray was the youngest of the three Shulman brothers that started Gentle Giant and provided bass, violin and vocals. This was their 6th album and the first without Phil Shulman (lead vocals, sax, trumpet, clarinet, percussion). My favourite track is Aspirations, featuring Kerry Minnear on lead vocals and keyboards, it's all very delicate and beautifully detailed. Fun fact about Kerry Minnear, he only ever sang on the studio albums, never live, as his voice was too fragile and weak to cope with live vocals.

Checking this one out myself as we speak. I went with the Audeze MM-500s off the GS-X Mini/Gustard R26 rig. He certainly likes to give his reeds a workout!
