Such a cool listen isn't it? I like pulling out an LTE release whenever I want to kinda refresh my audio palette so to speak. Just to listen to something different and cool that has showcases amazing musicianship and imoressuve technical skill without taking itself too seriously, if that make sense.

The Steven Wilson Remixes by Yes - Every once in a while, I come back to this incredible set and just immerse myself in some of the finest prog-rock ever recorded. It's not just the quality of the musicianship and song writing, the magic wielded by Steven Wilson pulls out every little iota of detail but does so while keeping true to the music, it really is a work of art. :L3000:

Quick question: Which do you prefer, the HD600 or HD6XX?
A quick question that is not so easy to answer. I own 580/600/650 (not 6xx, but I assume based on all reports they are the same - ditto for my 600, which are the OG marbleized version). Yesterday, I would have sworn that the 580 was the best of the bunch, but that’s just because I was listening to it through my now ancient HA-160DS, which seems to make everything sound great. Overall, I agree with @jonathan c , I would probably pick the 600 as the most neutral if I could only have just one, but there are times when I crave the warmth of the 650 and other times when I prefer the brash liveliness of the 580. All of mine have some modification (Dekoni pads, rear foam removed and replaced with CC inserts, 650 grilles and wires on the 580s, CC weight mod to help bring out more bass on the 600, …). There is certainly a strong family resemblance, and they all require a top shelf amp with a stiff power supply (some swear by tubes, others, like myself, enjoy the sound of class A solid state - either way, a stable power supply is the key). I like them all and I’m glad that I am lucky enough to have all three (I bought my 580s new in/about 1995, when they were “it”, and they’ve been in constant use since). A few ear and head pad changes is the only maintenance ever needed. These things are built to last - plastic or not. Can’t go wrong, just a matter of what’s your favorite flavor?

RPi4 --> Naim DAC-V1 --> Lehmann Audio Black Cube --> Focal Clear.
The Lehmann is a beast of an amp and plays superbly with the Clear's dynamism - I can feel the driver punching the music out. Love it.

Millenium, very good Progressive Rock I just stumbled across. 😊 They have a similar sound to Riverside, which is a good thing. :L3000: Some nice acoustic guitar, piano and flute in the mix. Good vocals.
Focal Elex < Luxman R-113 < Loxjie D30 < Amazon Music HD.

My second helping of Millenium. The Saxophone 🎷 is featured in the first song. Very interesting mix. 😁
K340 Electrostat - Dynamic System < Luxman R-113 < Loxjie D30 < Amazon Music HD.
The Elex sounded amazing, but the 340 takes it up a notch with it's superb imaging.
Edit: 3 songs in and I can say this is a fantastic production of music. Wow! :L3000: :thumbsup:.
Edit: Almost finished listening and I'm 😔 that is going to end. Incredible listening experience.
