For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Amazon Music HD (PC) > SMSL SU9 > SMSL SH9 > Beyerdynamic DT1990 pro

Interior Drawings by Mariusz Duda - The bassist, vocalist and leader of Riverside and Lunatic Soul is even more talented than I thought, although this is absolutely nothing like his other music, it's more akin to Tangerine Dream and sounds quite amazing through headphones. Mostly electronic music and samples with the odd smattering of vocals, it's not normally my cup of tea but I'm really enjoying this - apparently he recorded three of these albums while in covid lockdown!

Another eargasmy album for HE1000v2. Wow!

*Edited for cleanliness. Apologies to anyone who was offended.*

Seriously though that's a solid release. I had never heard of Riverside until someone on the r/headphones subreddit mentioned them when we were discussing bands like The Pineapple Thief and Porcupine Tree. Good stuff indeed!

Whenever someone says "eargasm" I always get a mental image of an ear dripping with jizz like some sick version of Something About Mary! 🤢 LOL

Add Blackfield to the list, same thing.

That's because you're from SoCal - I'd suggest SugarFish for dinner this evening - just a friendly reminder this is a gentlemen's forum (not the sunset blvd kind) - let's keep it (relatively) clean brother man

Band Of Gypsys [Capitol: March, 1970] What a real power trio sounds like! 😈😅

No doubt. I like Blackfield as well. If Steven Wilson is involved count me in!

Great recommendation anyways though!

Edited the post. My bad. I'll keep the SugarFish recommendation in mind though...😉

Had a rough or tiring day? Do yourself a favor and pour a few fingers of Kilchoman Sanaig single malt, put on your choice of Seth MacFarlane record (I chose No One Ever Tells You), put together your most musical audio chain, and let the day drain away while you contemplate what it would be like to be as talented as this guy. *Pour second or third glasses as needed. We don't judge...😉*

My audio chain ZMF Atrium into Ferrum Oor/Hypsos and my SMSL M400 DAC being fed some bit-perfect jazzy goodness from Qobuz.

I have to give my former lawyer credit for turning me on to the Kilchoman Sanaig. Not too expensive, but oh so delicious. Thanks Paul!

Looks like you have plenty of "old headphone friends" you can visit too! 😁
