The musicianship and recording quality on "Clique" are top flight. Several tracks serve well as test tracks for my tube or other gear changes. The bass quality on "This Town" and "The Beat Goes On" are spectacular, and the piano, vocal and drum parts are so beautifully recorded as well, tastefully "high fidelity" but in service of the music.

Not sure about this album, it's mostly standards so closer to jazz but another one I listened to, "Mythologies", was definitely more fusion oriented. It's one of her best qualities, she's so versatile, you never know what's coming next.
i receive these regular updates/newsletters from NativeDSD. the one i received today included an interview with Cobra Records founder and producer, Tom Peeters. it struck me because the picture shows him wearing an AKG K1000, so i am posting this on his behalf.
