It came after “Nefertiti” - the last ‘all-acoustic’ LP by the second great quintet (Davis, Shorter, Hancock, Carter, Williams). On this LP, Herbie Hancock plays Fender Rhodes electric piano / Ron Carter plays Fender Bass on the first track. A harbinger…
