Come on, list em out....
And none of that bass testor ****....

Mine would have to be Suerpredators (Metal Postcard) by Massive Attack, on The Jackal soundtrack.

No speaker/headphone system I have ever listened to has been able to keep up with the "holy****bass" of this song. Distortion abounds....

Check it out.... insane.

bass is wide spectrum. many music types and recordings are required to judge - since new gear will always display a somewhat unique behaviour, so there's a need to cover these in order not to be mislead.

Much of the faster stuff that he put out have good bass lines as well as good highs and mids with a lot going on...

Not all of the above have ridiculous bass but all have great bass lines with which to judge your cans. I'm sure there's a ton more but this is a start...

AdamZuf --

If you give me a couple months I might be interested in your EarMax Pro... I am posting here to tell you that my buddy list is screwed up at the moment, and if you could give me a Private Message instead that would be great. I just need to wait until Christmas to get the money I need to afford it; if you convince me enough, I just might get suckered in to buying...

you have to listen closely, but there are deep, almost subsonic sine-wave bass notes that float in and out. also, if you pay close attention there are treble harmonics that twist waaay up into the ultra-high frequencies. it ain't bass-head music, it is ambient, btw.
