Looks neat, but the only DSP feature I use on Foobar is meier crossfeed which the PowerAmp doesn't have. Ergo no reason for me to pay 8€ for it.

Ah, I know PowerAMP has Crossfade but I don't use it so don't know where exactly it's at in settings or if it's the kind you would use

Crossfeed, not crossfade. Crossfeed sends a bit of left channel to the right and vice versa. I can't live without it.

That's what I meant to say. Typo on my part. PowerAMP used to have crossfeed but replaced it with "Stereo Expand"

I've never used either feature much so not sure how similar they are

Why does the android version annoy you? On Android, the only other player I've tried is Neutron player and it felt awful to use compared to Foobar
It's a UI thing, and quite personal at that(we all have our preferred way of navigating music files). I did not say foobar was bad on android, but it annoys me^_^.
On my phone, I have UAPP for fancy audiophile whims(not my favorite UI either :weary:), and TBH I still mainly use DAPs on the go anyway.
On my tablet for casual whatever, I more often reach for Musicolet. Again, personal preferences about the interface, nothing more, and I did not try that many apps.
