Coming to looks, the Celeste is gorgeous. But the Stellia’s looks are just iconic, as far as I am concerned. The color can divide people, I suppose, but I really like it.
Of course, this is subjective territory.
I don’t think it sounds far worse. I A/Bed them extensively before deciding on the Stellia. I’m fact, I have been recommending the Celeste to other HeadFiers looking for a closedback in the ~1K range. I thought that the Stellia is faster, more detailed and has a better stage, but the Celeste caught me off-guard in how good it was.

Cool. You know I'm starting to see where you're coming from, the Stellia is just so in your face with its colouring. It is gorgeous.
SQ, indeed, subjective. I felt the Celestee were really narrow and tight, a very different beast to the Stellia on all counts.
Congrats on the Stellia! Just got myself a pair as well and considering getting the Arctic Cables Signum cable that seems to be well regarded as a pairing…Currently using stock as I picked it up on my ongoing trip. Have the silver dragon at home that I use with my Sus (which might get sold).
Agree… but the head band's leather get smeared (darker color) with hair & skin oil.Stellias are the best looking HP on the planet.
For sure. There will be lots of updates.Congrats on the Stellia! Just got myself a pair as well and considering getting the Arctic Cables Signum cable that seems to be well regarded as a pairing…
Was wondering if you would be updating your headphone ranking thread to account for your most recent Stellia impressions?
WOW, Amazing Collection, If i ever come to visit just to audition half of them lol.For sure. There will be lots of updates.

Can anyone recommend a treatment that will either brighten the leather or apply the same darker color uniformly, across the whole band.
Thanks man. This is at a store tho.WOW, Amazing Collection, If i ever come to visit just to audition half of them lol.
Enjoy it, my friend.
LOL!Thanks man. This is at a store tho.
Lol.LOL!
I didn't say it, but thought you needed to buy a more comfortable chair, so I'll let you off now!
The uncomfortable chair is the store's trick to make sure you get out the door... as in, not stay for too long...I didn't say it, but thought you needed to buy a more comfortable chair, so I'll let you off now!

Rub your face and hair on the light parts. Over time, it will darken to a more uniform patina that looks better than stark change from light and dark brown, IMO.
Wow - how do you get the time to enjoy all this? For sure. There will be lots of updates.

FWIW: many pages ago, I posted pictures of my Stellia's after lots of use. However, I have not applied anything to the leather, but rubbing to my forehead and nose to use the natural greasing. And guess what, they look much darker, but more beautiful than when I bought them....I use Chamberlain's leather milk liniment no.1 on the ear pads. It didn't darken it much (which I liked).
I did not touch the headband portion though. But I just make sure if I ever use the Stellia, it is after a shower, and no hair products. Otherwise, I wear a baseball cap. If I have friends over who wanna have a listen, I put on a headband protector.
The headband leather still looks like new despite lots of use.
