How is the soundstage on these?

I have the HD6XX (HD650) and I would get these if they have a much wider and less intimate sounding soundstage. My older HD598s had a very wide soundstage (partially due to the lack of bass maybe)...

Sadly, soundstage isn't the strongest aspect of the Elear. It's not very wide or deep. It feels like the headstage is deep at 45 degree angles from the front, but it collapses inward at the center. It doesn't rival the Q701, or even the AD700, which have more circular sounding soundstages. Instrument separation is fantastic, though, so it's not terrible by any regard.
