Well done. Loved the visual analogy, struck me as the difference I hear when comparing a good planar magnetic with a good dynamic transducer (with the same electronic chain).

Can someone do a detailed review of the Elear against Utopia with both using the Utopia pads? If the Elear gets 95% of the Utopia using the Utopia pads, maybe I'll go for the Elear + Utopia pads combo.

  Can someone do a detailed review of the Elear against Utopia with both using the Utopia pads? If the Elear gets 95% of the Utopia using the Utopia pads, maybe I'll go for the Elear + Utopia pads combo.

I believe it's been posted that Elear is a no go with Utopia pads, only Utopia may benefit (to your ears) by using the Elear pads.
