Deep pockets is a moving target for most of us. My Lola turned into a Fourte. And I'll be getting the A8K somewhere down the line.

Newer ones come with black iirc. Mine are white, not that it bothers me.

For sure, I thought that SK was the one for me after all those A8K reviews mentioned there being a lot of treble.

But I might be a treble head and the upper mids of the A8K be better tastes.

That said, if this is a 6 it's "probably" not flagship, which will likely come in the form of the RS8. They're likely testing the water with the midrange platform like Cayin.
