So, still waiting for Celeste news, but in the meanwhile I want to try some other IEMs since it's almost been a year with my flc8s. Anyone have any experience with tonally neutral IEMs with a no subbass roll off and not too much treble emphasized? I hate anything that is even near vshaped. I heard the new er4 series came out, anyone tried those? Thanks.

They're not out yet, but I know AudioQuest is coming out with an IEM in early 2017. I think it'll be one to watch...

I love the ER4XR but there isn't much subbass. Might be sufficient for you though.

It's the next iem on my list.

so AQ are making new iems huh? interesting. i wonder how it will turn out and whether it will be better than the flcs.

I think the AQ IEM sounds interesting because I love my Nighthawks, but whether they'll be better than FLC8S or not. Well, we'll just have to wait and see. I'm sure some will like it better, and others will like FLC8S better. Same as always...

Well, my spinfits FINALLY arrived today. I can happily report that they have solved my comfort issues with these. I was just about to return them to LMUE this week too. I really wasn't optimistic about it, I have a huge zip lock bag full of tips and I've tried everything, but the size small (white) spinfits are just right for my ears.

Yep, spinfits are really good for these. Glad you got your fit problem solved. FLC8s is definitely worth keeping.

You sure you got a good seal? I find the ER4XR sub bass to be quite present. My sub bass test song of choice is the Intro of Dark Ages - Two Steps From Hell, that has both the rumble and sound. With the XR's I can hear it all, even with moderate volume.
