Dear all my head Fi friends
Yesterday night my Brand new Topping DAC Amp was arrived
I want sharing the Sound Quality from Topping Dac Amp D2
Source : Imac 27 " with music file WAV
Music : Audiophile . Jazz , Blues and Classical Music
Headphones : LCD 2 rev 2 , Hd 650 , AKG K 701 , Beyerdynamic T 1
Head Amp : Topping Dac amp D 2 , Graham Slee Ultra Linear
USB Cable : Wire World Violet 5.2 and ACR Silver Reference II
DAC : Topping D2 and Meier Stage Dac
Sound Quality : brand new out from the Box, overall sound quality open and detail and full body
High : open and detail , extended high but a little bit harsh
Mid : sweet and forward mid presentation
Bass : deep and impact full , brand new out the box sound a bit dark
Soundsatging : wide soundstage
Separation : very good separation , i can feel the instrument placement very good.
Amp Section : Topping D2 vs Graham Slee Ultra Linear
High : Graham, Slee U L better clean high , Topping D2 high is open but a bit harsh
Mid : Graham Slee U L sweet and clean Mid, Topping D2 sweet also but not so clean
Bass : Graham Slee U L more deep and clean Bass, Topping D2 deep but no so clean
DAC Section : Topping D2 vs Meier Corda Stage Dac
High : both are similar very open and detail , Topping D2 a bit harsh
Mid : Graham Slee U L more sweet and clear mid , Topping D2 neet some more burn in to get better mid
Bass : Graham Slee U L more deep and clean Bass, Topping deep but not so clean , need some burn in to get deep Bass
Overall i like the Sound Quality from Topping D2 with Price around $ 160 USD compare to my Graham Slee U L around $ 750 USD
I heard my friend Topping D2 after burn in , sound better than my Topping D2 brand new out the box .
After burn in Topping D 2 more detail and no more harsh in high. Mid is more clear and Bass more deep and clean.
Topping D2 is synergie with : HD 650 and LCD 2 Rev 2 and AKG K 701
Topping D2 is not so synergie with : Beyerdynamic T1
this is my personnal first impression and i am sorry can not post the Picture here .
cheers
