AKG 81DJ after joinin then to MDR v6 to MS1 to Dt 770 to Q40's. Now i just have the V6's and Q40's and couldnt be happier

AKG K240s, because they were said to be the "groovalizer" (and I remember my guitar instructor had some lying around). Sssssibilance and bloaty bass; they are definitely not for me.

Vintage Lafayette F-990 for only 15 bucks in near mint condition. Very comfy for long periods even though they weigh nearly 600g. The sound is big and bold.

The box still has the original price tag of $29.99. In today's dollars that's about 160 bucks. I wonder how these would compare with a modern $160 pair about the same size?
