First Harmonic IEB6, new micro driver kid on the block! Is it better than the Tenore? [Impressions/Discussion]

Strange. They are terrible for my ears

How terrible?

For the price, they offer a nice details, and very clean and somewhat upfront vocals.  Treble is not on par with Fidue A73, for example, but still have a nice extension.
They are not for bassheads, maybe lacking bass for some, and I am still not sure if bass boost helps or not...

Overall, I am still thinking I prefer them to the Tenore though.  IMHO.

They are super harsh and vocals hurt my ears. S's are super sibilant for me.

Maybe I am becoming a treblehead!!  lol  They don't sound harsh to me, but we all hear things with a certain degree of difference, and that is why this hobby is so beautiful and fun (and exensive....).

Lurk, how would you compare them to the i.Valux Bette 10mm?

Bette are less harsh, more bass, more of a 3D sound, better separation, overall just more enjoyable for my ears. I haven't listened to either in over a month and at that time it had been months.

FXH30 are pretty small, not as small though.

There are more iems than just the best option under 100 USD in there

(jk jk....sorta). I was thinking either the ADVANCED M4 or RHA S500i would be good picks.

Got a pair from Massdrop, and after 3 weeks playing white noise and some hardcore electronic music, I killed the sibilance :). The sound is really good for the size:). Most of the use is in subway going to work, I'm super careful with my stuff, but I had to use super glue in both blue parts of left phone after 4 months of use (88 hours)...

I like the small size and sound, but the First Harmonic IEB6 are too fragile and I'm looking for a replacement.
