So I got myself into an interesting situation...
Today I asked one of my friends on a first date. She accepted and I got her number all all that jazz. I told her I'd call her later on tonight to set something up for this weekend. The only problem was that I forgot to figure out something to do ahead of time.
I've been in several relationships before, but coincidentally the first dates for those were all in the spring/summer time, which is quite easy to find something that works well. Minigolf, sailing, parks, tennis, etc. This is the first time I've ever had to think of something to do on a first date during the winter, strange as it may sound.
I need somewhere that we can talk; so no movies or anything. Also nothing too formal, or that requires advanced ticketing (a show would have been great but it's too late for that now). This is proving quite challenging - the best I can come up with is rather cliche' - head up to the mall for coffee and desert at Borders and then explore the mall for a while. It just seems so overused though..
So I turn to Head-Fi - I would like to call her in the next couple of hours; any ideas?
edit: I don't live in the city either
