The following changes and improvements have been made to the FW1.0.4 compared to the FW1.0.3 on M11:

1. Added 'Applications' app (apk installer), which allows you to download and install some of the frequently used music apps (tools);
2. Fixed the USB DAC audio delay issue, and added support for 384Khz/32bit decoding and DOP mode;
3. Fixed the audio synchronization issue when playing some types of videos;
4. Fixed issue where there might be noise when plugging in the headphones;
5. Fixed issue where the player could not skip tracks automatically when the screen is off and would cause a popping sound when waking up the screen
6. Fixed issue where the file downloading might be interrupted when the screen is off;
7. Fixed issue where there would be no output when first playing audio within a webpage after powering on the player;
8. Improved the equalizer algorithm and its UI display;
9. Improved the FiiO Link function;
10. Miscellaneous improvements on the performance.

Two question regarding the Fiio M11.

1. Is there anyway to update it to Android 10?
2. Is there anyway to ger the Viper Tools (as on the X5iii) for the M11?

Dear friend,

1. M11/M11Pro/M15 are all based on the same Samsung Exynos 7872 SoC which was announced in Q1 2018. Exynos 7872 latest supported Android version from Samsung is Android 7.0.
So unless Samsung could provide the support of Android version update for this chip, or we could not update the Android version in those products.

2. Do you mean the Viper effect in older version FiiO Music app? Since the Viper company is not cooperating with us now, we could not add it back to the FiiO Music app.

Is there a website to purchase the viper affects? Since I paid for some of the add-ons...seems a bit shady / unethical to loose them. Is there a website to puchase it?
