instead of KR5, I would choose Odin. and the best of both - XE6

I do not leave it behind when I travel. So much so that these Xe6 are excellent, I even listen to them at home

Everyone's been talking about the Frontier series, but the M4 is where FiR has me captured still. After that journey full of twist and turns, my first FiR customs are here! Well added that winter storm and UPS logistics being all over the place as a result.

I never thought about it applying since FiR did get my scans, so consider me surprised when Cody texts me telling the M4 is on the way, but that his team might have forgot the accessory.

Figure it might be FiR Swag, maybe something with Firry. Then I opened the package:

Keep in mind my M4 review unit was a demo that FiR also graciously repaired the mesh after it came out. So I liked it before I was bribed.

Same boat. Having the Odin negates the need for a KR5.

I need to get more time with the NE4 - the only one in the Frontiers series I'm not sure about yet.

I haven't tried the Odin. So, no advice.

But the bass is in the same boat that with the Kr5 ?

For vocals probably NE4 if you’re going to go with a frontier series CIEM.

I listened to all the new 3 models and it seemed to me that NE4 was clearly not for vocals, rather for some club music.I myself like the vocals to stand out a bit, so I chose KR5 for myself. On YouTube, evaluating the sound is a so-so occupation, but look at this video, personally, after this video, I lit up to listen to KR5

I found vocals a little recessed on the Ne4 as well, Kr5 would be (and was my) pick.

Loved their frontier selection. They all sounded incredible, but just too far out of my price range. The Bellos IEMs aren't too bad but don't carry the same quality of sound. Their are marketed as their durable budget-friendly option. But if I had to pick, I'd go Xenon6 ALL DAY.

100% - if budget was of no concern, XE6 all the way.

I continue to be impressed with the Krypton 5, one of my favorites in my collection. The bass performance is simply outstanding! My first experience with FiR; they’re certainly on my radar from this point on.

I've not heard the XE6 or KR5, so my opinion isn't completely valid, but I don't find vocals to be recessed on my NE4 (compared to other iems I have or have heard)

Lately, I became aware that I like the sound of my Xe6, better than that of the Focal Stellia. With Roon over my stationary setup as well as Roon ARC (lossless) via my Questyle M15 dongle.
