I can tell you that I did hear last week from them that they had a Xenon 6 demo there but the distributor only offered the demos to them for a limited amount of time. So it's possible that they don't have it anymore.

It's 2022, if someone is not responding, after few chances I am just going somewhere else I was interested because I was going to visit Berlin and it seemed as probably a good opportunity to check the Xe6 there, because nobody stocks them in my country. My local dealer is not interested in ordering a demo even if I told him I will rather buy it.

To be honest I have same bad experience with many stationary shops selling premium goods located in Germany, so maybe this is some local habit - they rarely answer on mail, contact forms or messenger. Or reply comes after a month and out of topic...

)) I was writing about polish distributor To be fair I even offered them to pay something for demo if I won't buy it.

That's why I am talking directly with FIR now and will order from them.

They say Xe6 is too niche model to risk.

First they agreed that I will pay for the demo (offered them 100EUR for just listening at the store) if won't buy them but it's now a few weeks after their declared term. They didn't ordered yet and can't declare anything now.
So pass on them, even if they proposed a nice discount for a "blind" buy.

But the same problem in Poland is with Empire Ears - forget to demo Legend EVO, blind buy only.

But it's good, their business model saved me a lot of money as I'd probably buy the EVO after hearing them Now can go direct to Xe6.

I am not agree, FIR is the most popular luxury IEM brand atleast in Russia, more popular than Unique Melody,Empire Ears,Vision Ears.

I own both XE6 and EVO, XE6 is less risky if you thought to buy them blindly

That’s true. In my case, the Xe6 sounds exceptional with a large silver cable combined with Symbio W & black atom module. It sounds much less warmer and achieve a perfect balance in tonality. Yet, the bass is still incredible sounding, perfect amount and texture, and a great balance between sub and mid-bass. Mids are so seductive and treble is so detailed but smooth, airy and extended. Actually this is the best and most natural sounding treble I’ve ever heard from an IEM. The treble is akin to what I hear from my SR1a ribbon headphones.

Looks like this combo is something I'll need try out and decide on between the KR5.

Keep in mind FiR is quite a young brand that started not so long ago. It will get there eventually.

I am very impressed how much difference a silver cable can make in combination with Xe6, with stock scorpion cable Xe6 is warm, smooth sounding IEM, when I bought Effect Audio Cleopatra, Xe6 became detail monsters (more detailed than Traillii imho) especially on bass and mids, if comparing to EE Legend EVO with Cleopatra cable I can say that XE6 bass is something very special, I hear incredibly punchy and technically perfect, a bit dry (almost armature) bass with lots of sub bass. Mids are very intimate with very good microdynamic. So if someone finds the Xe6 too warm, and wants to push the XE6 to another level in resolution and details, with a colder sound signature, try the EA Cleopatra cable.
