Final wish to thank you for joining them at the Munich HIGH END exhibition. For those who didn't manage to make it to the Final booth, here is what you missed...

Final Audio Design  becomes Final Inc.

Since 1974, the name Final Audio Design has been synonymous with passionate engineering and beautifully precise design. Now, Final Inc continues that tradition.
With a new logo and shorter, more elegant name, Final aim to produce exquisitely crafted products that combine a unique sound signature and alluring aesthetics.

Sonorous VIII and X Announced

Building on the legacy established by the Pandora Hope IV and VI, the new Sonorous VIII and X embody the values that form the foundation of Final's design philosophy. Beautifully crafted, these new prestige models utilise Final's 50mm driver with integrated titanium diaphragm to create a clarity and vivdness that hasn’t been previously experienced in headphones.

Luxurious and stylish, the Sonorous VIII and X combine radical new technology and stunning design to form a headphone that could not have been created by anyone other than Final. Wowing anyone who tried them at the HIGH END exhibition, these exquisite headphones need to be heard to be believed.

About Final

Final  began developing magnetic cartridges and step-up transformers in 1974. It wasn't long before they were manufacturing turntables and speakers which were well ahead of the curve for their time. When Final started manufacturing headphones, they wanted to relay the musicians passion for their art, as well as their own passion for engineering.

I searched and it translated to 5135.3127 US Dollar for the X and 3097.5554 US Dollar for the VIII

OMG! I need more gold, but these need a lot less. Well there'll always be some lucky bastards who can and will pay this. So good luck FINAL. Fortunately the Porta Pro also sounds great

I know it is a silly question but I am going to ask it anyway, how is the price for each product is decided? What is the process of pricing a product?

They look at the current prices for the most expensive headphones, then they price theirs the same. Then (a few) people will believe that therefore it must be as good as the others. And they will buy it. Simple.

They also make 25$ cheapos. This is a strategy that I don't get.

Since there priced so high, does anyone think there sound will compete with Audeze LCD's and Sennheisers HD800's and other TOTL. I have only heard there Heaven IV's and there one of my favorite single BA iem's but they are priced right.

They can price a headphone at $10,000 and someone will buy it, there are a lot of people that have a never ending bank account.

KOSS can sell 10,000 PortaPros and Final and Abyss can sell 5 or 10 of their headphones. Amounts to the about same thing.
