Please excuse my question: so you mean that for you there is currently no other IEM that sounds so open and clear, right? And is this related to the treble peak?Frankly, not really....
At this level, I mean.

At this level, not really. And all the tribrids I have listened to, are not so homogeneous (tones, timbres). Please excuse my question: so you mean that for you there is currently no other IEM that sounds so open and clear, right? And is this related to the treble peak?
As I know.
Single beryllium DD : it is incredibly clean. And snappy. And slappy (transients). But, a little in the "cold" and intense side.
And I have completed my last answer.

Created this Final A8000 bass EQ profile. Has been really fun in practice with my unit.

Just got the a8000 as a complement to Obravo eamt1/2 or Clio. All of them very good. I am using eamt2c daily but I wanted something different (excellent, but not necessarily better) …Does anyone know of another (better ?) IEM that also sounds so open, clear, "pure" and detailed? In other words, are there alternatives to the A8000?
Also, does it have to do with the treble peak that the A8000 sounds so open and clear?

With respect to the “cold” side, I am currently listening to it on the DX300 with the new Amp14 (balanced nutube). It sounds very pleasing. Takes the edge off. YMMV. Some people may like it with a tube amp. Others may not.At this level, not really. And all the tribrids I have listened to, are not so homogeneous (tones, timbres).

Very clever and elegant solution
Demoed the a8000 today. Now hoping my dealer can get a pair of a8000 for me.
Just wondering. Does the a8000 come with a 4.4mm cabe? My dealer told me there is only a 3.5mm cable in the packaging.
For the 2000 euro it costs here in europe I would expect at least a balanced cable to be included.

The final C106 4.4mm and 2.5mm balanced cables are available for purchase separately. The 4.4mm sells for $279.

Amp12EXN mod for the Dx300 Amp12 module, it also removes the edge off the Final A8000 for a nice listen. I use it with the A8000.

Yesterday, the mighty A8000 - finally - well fitted (after a long, long time of diverses... experimentations ) : extraordinary. Diamond clear.
I need finally Azla Xelastec L size lol !!!
Dap Aune M1s, balanced output, low gain, fast filter. Dunu Blanche Cable.
By far the most technical and scrutinizing uiems I know. On the other hand, it's... merciless... But waouh... With some selected tracks (not mandatory audiophiles tracks quality), it's... No concurrence. It kills the game. Definition at the top of the mountain.
Definitely in my top list, with my belived Ringo, Elixir... Fh9 (modded)... And Mentawai "Mars version".

How are these in 2023 for the £1999 price tag they’re retailing at brand new? Are there better options now with the same sound signature for this price?
I wonder if the sound stage and micro detail come close to EE Odin??Yesterday, the mighty A8000 - finally - well fitted (after a long, long time of diverses... experimentations ) : extraordinary. Diamond clear.
