Still loving mine for sure ❤️

Got a QLS QA361 a few weeks ago. Great source, particularly if one happens to have a 3.5mm balanced cable.

Since a week i have intermittently an issue with the sound level of my right earpiece.
Are there more people that have experienced similar issues? I have a feeling that it has something to do with the venthole on the bottomside. Tried to clean it out helped to get the sound back but that trick is not working anymore. They are from January 2020 so the warranty is also gone. Would be shame for 2000euro to get to waste.

I recently purchased a pair of A8000s and have been enjoying them immensely with classical music in particular.

Does anyone have any recommendations for cables which pair especially well with the A8000s? I'm currently using mine with the Ares S which is quite a good pairing, but something with a broader soundstage and a tad more warmth would be nice. Pure silver might be a bit much given the upper midrange is already quite prominent.

Also very keen to hear the thoughts & impressions of those of you who've combined your A8000s with R2R sources, as opposed to delta-sigma.

Would anyone out there be willing to sell me a few A8000 dust filters?

Mine came without spares, and Final haven't responded to my email asking where I can purchase some. Happy to pay a price you think is fair.

cant find mine nor cant find any of them for sell official way too....

perhaps try these one. I think its 4mm you need but measure it again to be sure. they seem extremely similar, i dont think it will inflict on the sound since its not thcik metal grill or dense foam...

So how do you like the A8000? I have a pair and while they can’t compete with the Susvara /Dave /ENLEUM 23 R combo for a portable rig haven’t found any IEMs that can give as open a sound stage and detail retrieval yet. I am about to sell my prior go to IEM for a while Empire Ears Zeus. The A8000 has a bass response that is hard to believe at times. Love them.

Still love them too.

My go-to "closed back headphones".

And my benchmark iems to evaluate new gear, such as the AMP12EXN I finally managed to lay my hands on, for my DX300.

AMP12EXN.jpg

Wasn't fond of the stock version for its lack of musicality, this one is radically different. A8000 (mid gain 50 to 60 / 100) and D8000 Pro (high gain 50 to 60 too) are magnificently served.

Synergy was already very nice for elevated volume playing levels with AMP11 mk1, the 12EXN keeps the analogue feeling and boosts dynamics and finesse.

Always a pleasure to listen to well recorded music with Final's single DD flagship.

Does anyone know of another (better ?) IEM that also sounds so open, clear, "pure" and detailed? In other words, are there alternatives to the A8000?

Also, does it have to do with the treble peak that the A8000 sounds so open and clear?

Frankly, not really.... 🤔🥺

At this level, I mean. Hum, the Noble Kaiser Encore. But they're full ba. So the bass impact and texture are different, and ba timbres...

The question : partially yes (target curve). But, thanks to a pure beryllium DD...
