Can't play DSD256 files in X7 MKII with lastest firmware 1.1.0 and lastest FiiO Music 1.1.9. Sounds garbage, distorted and with a lot of noise.

There are also chinese characters instead of latin special characters/letters.

Am I the only facing issue playing DSD 256 with the latest Fiio Music App update (https://www.fiio.com/newsinfo/364625.html) on my X7 II ?

For info:
The DSD 64 are played without any issue.
And I not not have any DSD 128 to test with.

Me too. Also DSD128 plays well. But DSD256 sounds distorted and with a lot of noise.

It took me ages to find somewhere still selling them and this was months ago

No problem. You can also install it on the japonese version.

I haven't check with 1.1.9 yet as I removed all DSD256 from my sd cards

DSD256 seems to be correct in FiiO Music 1.2.0. Now plays correctly well right again.

I couldn't find one. It was only available for a short time. FiiO are taking the piss teasing us then stopping production. They obviously want us to buy M11 Pro's.

Is the AM3D really that good? In today's market, the cost of an AM3D is like half the price of the machine tho

iBasso have all of their amp modules available, why can't FiiO? If they weren't unreliable, I've had three DX200 and two developed separate faults, I'd get a DX220. Trouble is, there is a thread on here where users are quoting as little as 4 1/2 hours running time and confirmed by paul from iBasso in a PM.
