It won't do a media scan so I can't use it right now.  Works fine on FW2.0 and in my X3ii.

Intresting, I'm loading a Samsung T3 SSD 1tb, I'm using it to back up my NAS but I figure it will be intresting 2 try it plugged into the X7.

ps how r u getting on with the sandisk 200GB I have one at the moment working fine?

I also would like to have a definitive answer on this, asked a couple of times but not much feedback. This is the main reason why I didn't upgrade yet to 3.0.4

 Hi, guys!

I just purchased FIIO K5 Docking and I use a protective cover for my Fiio x7, so the device does not fit in the top dock.

Where those 11 Pin micro usb cable available to purchase to use 'Dock In' port at the back of the K5? Or they already available from Fiio or other reputed brand?

Any problem to use a USB to micro usb adapter like this?

I searched several sites a micro USB cable 11pin male / male, but not found anywhere.

 Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Can´t you get a simple micro usb extension (male to female) and connect it in the main dock port where X7 attaches normally?

I don't know if it would work for you, but this cable links my X5 (gen 1) to my OTG storage perfectly. May be worth a try

I think this would work out perfectly for my situation.

I will contact the Fiio and ask if this alternative could work. Unfortunately in my country I believe it will be difficult to find this cable, but I can import it by Ebay.

Thanks a lot for the help!
