is the X7 capable of handling 200 GB cards? If not, will there be a firmware update?
 
@Promo ... what if i bought the X7 in another country? I live in germany and would love to get a chance on another module. Reason i switched from X5 to X7 now.

No modules with bass boost. Fiio calls to external developers to create basshead module, however, no response yet. Pity!!

Tested the X7 against AK240, Questyle QP1, and Onkyo DPX1 at the Newport show today. To summarize, Onkyo sounded too dry, Questyle too muddy, AK240 too cold. Still prefer my X7 with AM5.

  siamdave,please kindly understand the promotion is only available for the X7 with AM1 version. Actually the price for X7 Main body +AM2 is almost same as X7 with AM1 version +AM2 50% off. All is up to you.

 
Dear FiiO, I pull back my statements concerning this promotion a few days ago, I now realize (and value) your efforts for making it as wide as possible.
I bought my X7 with AM1 online on amazon.uk so promotion wouldn't apply anyway.
 
I would for sure pull my trigger on AM2 before buying AM3 if I had a discount price...
