I'd be really interested with the X7 if it has a dual dac(or single with good implementation) with optical out and modules that have balanced, low impedance for IEMs and an amp module for full sized headphones. mSD card + 256gb(or higher) will be a big plus!!!
 
I've read that the optical out from something like the AK models are still affected by the DAC in some way. The line out too is affected by the amp.... I'm hoping that it won't be the case with the X7.
 
Take your sweet time with this product, James. I'm sure it'll be more than perfect that way.

I was about to purge on astell & kern ak jr .. until I realise it doesn't have WIFI and no Spotify.
 
Most of the time I listen to my flac files .. but once in a while, I would like to listen to some new music and background music from Spotify.
 
I hate proprietary connectors, so no ZX2 for me.
 
I have already sold my X5 in anticipation for the X7 ... too soon ? Hahaha

Exactly what I use Spotify for as well: to discover new music. I'll then purchase the flac versions if I find something I like

@JamesFiiO can we get some insight on the firmware's features? did you implement some of the previous requests for your X-players? (replaygain, crossfeed, playlistmanagement, faster scrolling, etc)
