I'm hoping that a future update will allow storage of Tidal files onto the external memory card. Sucks not being able access more offline stored music. Best thing ever and the main reason I went with an android music player.

Yeah, I have that problem.  Sometimes it says it can't find that file, sometimes it says format not supported.  In both cases, the files play just fine if picked by Artist-Track instead of the folder view.  They also sometimes start playing after the error when I hit the back button.  When that happens, the GUI gets choppy.
 
I've never been able to figure out why.  It clearly can find, read, and play the files since they can be played other ways.

I still have a few minor bugs. The random pausing (which has relented significantly) and sometimes when I change tracks using the hardware button, it repeats the track. Just happened now 3 times with the same song. Not a big deal, just weird little nuances.

If you go back to page 841 on this thread, OSiRiSsk figured out the cause of this problem.

The X7 gets confused by hidden files, that is, files that don't normally appear on a directory listing because they have a . or ._. prefix. This was not only causing problems with the FiiO music app not finding my files or recognizing the format of my files (legitimate file formats of files that definitely did exist!), but it also seemed to be the cause of the error message pop-ups saying "Google Play Services has stopped". Somehow, the root filesystem had also ended up with some of this junk. I have no idea how that happened, as I initially loaded music files only onto my external microSD card. With all this junk removed, I'm not having these issues anymore. I'm not sure why the X7 can't simply ignore these hidden files like every other player out there. IMHO, this is a bug, but at least there's an easy workaround.

The only problem I still have with the X7 is the EMI/FRI when streaming via wifi. I'm still surprised at how much audible interference there is on the X7, especially given that I can't hear any such effects on my smartphones.

Just a follow-up on the subject ...
 
Finally, after more than 2 months of waiting and a few calls and emails, the postal services sent me a letter saying they have lost it. Sent a message to ebay seller that quickly sent a 2nd case, but then after a couple of days the 1st shipment arrives at home ... WT????
 
Now I have 2 cases, ebay seller tells me I don't need to pay 2nd shipment because of all the waiting and trouble... Am I LUCKY or what?
