Jupp, got it on my beoplay h8. Also known as "frying bacon sound" =)

Try a factory reset. Didn't help me..

Just a shout out to another B&O user, I'm really loving the H7. Sold my PM3 which was being driven balanced by a DP-X1 and I really don't think I've given up anything. As an aside, why use the X7 with a Bluetooth headphone? If you are carrying your phone for instance, and it has apt X, which it might not, why not use that to avoid any Bluetooth issues you say you are experiencing? I take it that you also use wired headphones with the X7?

I have X7 for some two weeks or so and as I read through this thread I'm one of those lucky ones that don't experience any wifi streeming issues. Maybe it's because I don't use IEMs at all, I don't know... I use SENNHEISER MOMENTUM M2, SHURE SRH 1540, FOCAL SPIRIT CLASSIC and AUDIO-TECHNICA MSR7 and on all of these the streeming is crystal clear. Used with Tidal.

But guess what? The Bluetooth streeming sounds just horrible! When I connect X7 to some Bluetooth speaker it's almost unlistenable. Anybody else have this problem? Firmware 1.8

Anyone compared the Plenue P1 to the X7? I love the X7 sound, but I have always been intrigued with the Burr Brown sound signature. Never heard one before. Most users say it sounds very analogue like.

Go for the player that provides the best feature set for your current and possible future needs. If you like a warmer sound signature that is not difficult to emulate with some simple EQing so if the X7 has more of what you want/need, don't skip it simply because it is not as warm sounding as the Plenue DAP.
