Based on initial pics, externally, it looks like the x7i with x5iiis wheel on the left.

It's good it can use the old amp modules.

But, for those looking for an upgrade from x7i + am1, would it be a better bang for the buck solution to simply get the am3 for the x7i?

Is X7 getting the same firmware runs on X7ii? The UI of FiiO player looks better and more similar to iOS.

My first question about FiiO X7 Mark II is if support OTG to connect external storage devices?

After I update my X7 (I upgraded to lastest Android 5.1.1, Build Number 3.3.0), x7 just does not work anymore as DAC with Foobar.

Foobar has become completely unstable. I can hear a song, but when I switch to another one with different bitrate, Foobar mute on and songs hangs on 0:01 second.

I upgraded WASAPI to Foobar (version 3.3), but the problem persists.

Does anyone know what might be happening?

EDIT

SOLVED: It was a USB cable problem.

I'm still having Tidal problems on my X7. I only use it in offline mode and I have removed all extraneous apps, especially ones that can play audio. On issue still remains - after playing offline albums for 30-40 minutes, the X7 starts freezing for a few to 10 seconds, then continues playing. If I keep going, it becomes worse and worse. If I restart the Tidal app, it works for maybe 10-15 minutes before the same thing happens. Anybody have any ideas? If I can't resolve this, I will have to move my Tidal offline access to another player (probably my Pioneer XDP-300R) and then I probably won't have a good use for the X7 anymore (1SD slot is pretty lame - I have 14 other DAPs with more capacity).

Several people have the same issue but FiiO is ignoring this issue. Too busy with new product releases. I'm using one of my spare phones with a micro sd card hooked up to my mojo. Streams flawlessly and plays offline tracks without a hitch. The X7 is the worst audio related purchase I made so far.

Ever thought for a second that it might also be the Tidal app? I've noticed some freezes and some stuttering. Got same thing with the Cayin i5. Unsure if this just means the Tidal app is more optimised for use with mobile phones with more powerful processors and possibly more RAM. I don't think FiiO is ignoring the issue - but more that its out of their control. It is Tidal's app and Tidal's player interface.
