The unit in Russia is unfortunately still a long way from the end of its slow tour and the units in Asia have got stuck in a customs landmine thanks to some poor choices of courier on our part

 
I have a unit on pre-order with B&H, but if the tour unit is going to get to me before that one does, I would like to give it a listen and write my first review .
 
I am in Southern California, in the United States. I currently use a Sansa Clip +, a Sony NWZ-A729 and an iPod Touch (1G). I used to use a DIYmod with Kemet caps and a Graham Slee Voyager. I sold them off to fund the X5.
 
My headphones include a pair of Magnum X in mahogany, a pair of Grado SR80 pinks, a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770 80 and a pair of Fostex T50rp. My first amp was a FiiO E7.
