Hi

I am a stay home Head-Hifi dad. Since Lucas was born 3 years ago.
I have been on a mission for the best mobile headphones setup for my limited budget setup, because I simply to not have the same time to sit and listen like I used to.
So I listen mostly on the move now.

Please apply by replying to this thread and including the following information in your reply:

-Headphone(s) you possess: (countless from 20 years of head-phoning)

These are the once I use daily::

- Denon D600 - I have lots of listening session after listening to a Denon D7100, but D600 have 96% of the sound for 60% less money
and these babies are a bargin and lots of my many SennHeisers have I sold now og given away. Movies and Rock sound amazing.

- Sony MBR-90EX in ear (Japanesse model) - I went to Japan for 3 weeks in 2007 and use 2 days of the trip to find the best in ear ever (and drove my girl friend crazy) and was very surprised to find to I like the Japanese top model in ear Sony as the best - BUT I lost them 4 years ago and have been look for the same sound again - The EU Sony in ears models for the past 4 years was not the sound i Like -  these Sony MBR-90EX is better than the one I most over ear head-phones.

-DAP(s) you possess:
I use my desktop AMP for my best listening experience.

I really try to live more simple and carrying 1 extra device for my mobile phone with cable is not very simple so
the sound should be very much improved to break my simplicity rule #1

I have tested a Fiio X17 DAP with my mobile phone did but it did not convince me (I do not really blame Fiio I blame Apple)
- other than it convinced me to try to test an X3 instead

-FiiO product(s) you possess (if any):
None - Fiio X3 is not avaible in Denmark for testing in any shops in Copenhagen.
So I have been waiting for a chance to test

-Descriptions and links to review(s) you have posted:
You will have to trust me to post a review for X5 - Since I have become a dad - I have not posted any reviews, but I will if I get the X5 for testing

-Your geographical region (e.g. the city and country you live in):
Copenhagen, Denmark

-Language(s) you can read:
Danish, English, German, Swedish, Norwegian

I hope you will give a hardworking hifi-loving stay home dad a chance to test '
Merry X-mas and a happy new year.

Hi Joe Bloggs

I am an older audiophile  with audio gear that includes stuff that goes back to the days of Nakamichi and early KEF speakers.  More recent gear includes mono block 1,000 watt amps and Velodyne 18" subs.

Current most used headphones are custom Ultimate Ear UE 10's made when Jerry Harvey still owned the company.  Was fitted for them in person at UE headqurters in Irvine California.
Currently using your Fiio X3 - good kit  with over 500GB of music on a number of cards (so two card slots on an X5 would be a godsend).
Also occasionally using a custom A-Class headphone amp.
Am also pushing tracks through my OPPO BDP-95 which uses the Sabre32 Reference ES9018 DAC for both dedicated stereo as well as multi-channel analog.
Have not posted reviews on this site as yet.
Located in Canberra, Australia.
English of course as preferred language.
