Dude, I don't like Apple and I never used an iPhone. That was Q3, you need to check Q4 where Apple iphone 7 outsold Samsung (because of Note 7 failure).
 
Never mind, I am little worried and confused when "vincik" told that it does sound musical like X7. I thought X7 sounds less musical than X5 3.
 
Can anyone who own both confirm the same?

  I finally got this in yesterday, and due to my excitement (and stupidity...), I ended up inserting the microSD card without the tray first. I spent the next 2 hours shopping for a tweezer small enough to grab it and trying to pull the damn thing out. It still works fine, though the card and slot now has minor nicks along the edges... Thankfully, the included case hides it all...

I ordered mine on Feb 15th from B&H. called them today and they expect their shipment to arrive in about 1 week. apparently there was some kind of customs issue with there first shipment

  Penny for penny, I'd pick the X5iii any day. If you've not got your heart set on a DAP, though, I highly recommend the IFI Micro iDSD Black Label

Thanks for the recommendations. I have read good things about the IFI Micro but looking for something portable, so will most likely be picking up the X5iii when the local retailers get more stock. The Black Label will be something I hope to add to my inventory at a later date.

Some brief initial impressions.

Build quality is excellent at this price range, was a little smaller than I was expecting so that's a bonus. The new included is a real nice touch from Fiio when you consider how much they can cost.

Android interface is pretty good to me, reasonably snappy most of the time, a little quicker in tasks than what I remember of the Cayin I5, seems more stable as well.
Out of the box it detected a OTA update and installed it within minutes - very impressed with this.

Wifi - this is quite a biggie for me as I like to stream Spotify and radio on a fairly regular basis. The Fiio X7 was a letdown for me with some terrible interference when streaming, the Cayin I5 was a complete non starter, had 2 of them and neither managed to stream radio or give stable connection to Spotify and wouldn't work with Tidal.
The wifi on the X5 so far seems quicker with no interference when I've streamed from Spotify or radio apps, downloading and streaming from my NAS drive has been flawless as well. Something the I5 couldn't seem to cope with although maybe these issues have been resolved now.

Sound quality seems very good so far, only had a couple of hours with my Flare R2pro and B&W P9 and they both sound pretty awesome through the X5, will be trying out my Fidue A91 in balanced over the next couple of days.

So far very impressed with the X5, got it for a good price from AMP3 with a little bit of cashback from TopCashback which helps sweeten the deal!

Really, IMO, ANYTHING is a good fit for the Vega! Seriously, what with all of the possibilities for fine-tuning the x5iii, I think it would work quite well.

Excited! Got mine from Beach Camera with one-day AM shipping coming tomorrow. Was thinking about going with the Fiio X7 instead for the Sabre 9018 and as it, but potential Android 5.1 issues on the X7 and the dual SD slots on the X5-III sold me. Plus, I like the idea of that volume knob there.

I think what he mean is the previous and next button can be adjust via software, some people prefer the next button on top. Some people prefer on bottom. Also I'm waiting for the DOP feature. Once you update this feature, fiio x5 iii will be my ultimate device!!
