Hi everyone. I'm wan't to buy a decent DAP and I was wondering how the Ipod Touch 4g compares to the Fiio X3. If I get the Ipod I will be using the Line out dock with my Fiio e07k dac/amp. They are around the same price(Ipod is refurbished, 64gb storage).
 
I'm leaning towards the Ipod because of all the apps it can run but only if the Ipod + E07k combination is comparable to the Fiio X3. Which has better SQ?
 
Has anyone compared these?
 
Btw The headphones I will be using for portable use is the Ultrasone HFI 580's (my E07k eq settings- treble +6, bass -4)
