FiiO X1 II (2nd Gen) w/ Bluetooth!

I wonder how tactile the wheel is (I often listen in the dark).
Also, will the HS12 Stacking Kit work with this new FiiO?

With size changes and rounded sides, I doubt the stacking kit will fit.  Perhaps FiiO can let us know if they have a stacking kit in the works for this or if we are stuck just banding it together?

It supports the playback controls from the headphone, but not the volume controls (because of the patent protection from Apple)

so does that mean with Bluetooth headphones I can't adjust volume?

Sorry I didn't notice that the MW600 is a Bluetooth headphone. This is depended on the design of the Bluetooth headphone itself. According to our tests that generally the Bluetooth headphone can only control its own volume, but not the volume of the X1II. And I think it's the same for the MW600.

Love the new design of these and i cannot wait to see what you do to refresh the x3 and x5 lines. I have been very happy with my current x3ii but ill probably get the new one if it follows the design of the new x1.

You can get longer battery life if you use an amp. I could (don't use an amp anymore) get 16 hours that way.
I don't like adding bulk in my pocket and good amp doesn't come cheap. I probably need to look for another player that offer great battery life like Sony because I find battery life on my X1 is quite short. I have to charge my X1 once in 2 day in my school day and once a day on weekend and school break.

The Fiio X1 II looks really good. I wonder how good the wheel works in this new version.
I will wail for the first video reviews.

It's a touch wheel similar to what apple used in the classic. The scrolling should be a lot smoother than with the mechanical wheel plus it should be less prone to breaking or malfunctioning...no dust getting in.
