At the bottom of the first image on the Features page for the X1ii, one of the icons says "Adjustable volume at LO", but I don't see it mentioned anywhere else in Features or the Specifications pages.

Hi, XERO1
Yes, the new X1 has 'Adjustable volume at LO' feature. You can switch it from the lineout mode in play settings.

Something to look forward to if you're thinking about using Apple's new AirPods with the X1ii (or anything else)!

It says right in the specs for the X1 II, LO with adjustable volume.  I don't see how they can bypass the amp section and still adjust the LO volume.

aren't Androids and iDevices Linux based too?

It was stated by James@Fiio that the AptX codec is not supported on Linux.  Fiio is talking with Qualcomm to see if support could be added in the future.

Google's Android OS uses the Linux kernel but adds its own operational layer to support features like the AptX codec that aren't supported natively by Linux.

All the LO of  FiiO's products are real line out which bypass the amp section . and the volume control is by the DAC chip or the Soc.

Actually the earpods will work with non Apple devices but there will be limitations. The proximity pairing function will not work with non Apple devices and according to Apple the audio quality will be dull compared to use with Apple devices.

Ok then...I did read it correctly.  Thought I was losing my mind for a minute.  Couldn't find it again when I went back to confirm it
