FiiO X1 2nd gen Review World Tour Starts Right Now, don't miss your chance!

heck , even switching somg to another folder crashes it, making my review time a bit raging

It could be that this is such an early model, but it feels a lot like it was a little rushed to market.  They could have maybe held off till the Bluetooth was fully functional.  Especially considering that has been such a big part of their marketing.

I want to stress though that once these software issues are fixed (which I am certain they will be), it will be a wonderful device! just wait to buy for a little bit.

Problem is that these aren't minor issues. My X1 fails to find files on the sd card when browsing artists but miraculously finds them through file manager.

Hi, Yethal
Couldn't you find the files through artists after updating media library?

It takes over 20 minutes to refresh the library, I'm not going to do it every time the X1 fails to find a file.

Hello,
My review is available here.
I tried to minimize the amount of jokes and usual silliness due to time constraints and my overall disappointment with the X1.

I don't expect you guys to change the power output this late in the development but the sluggishness and playback bugs really need to go. I hope the retail version uses a newer version of the firmware than what the reviewers received.

They just announced the 1.3.3 firmware the other day so this should already be an improvement (review unit had 1.2).  Nice to see a company that is this responsive!
