As you may be aware, we had just announced the brand new X1 2nd gen at our Guangzhou Launch Event on 10th Sept.

We are now proud to announce that we will be holding a world review tour for the X1 2nd gen. Are you interested? Here is your chance to become the first crew to listen to the X1 2nd gen and for free! (Reviewers will be reimbursed for any import duties, but reviewers are responsible for the cost of shipping to the next reviewer / back to FiiO).

Shipping info:
Depending on the geographical distribution of selected reviewers, FiiO will ship out several X1 2nd gen units, one or more to reviewers in each region, e.g. USA, Europe, SE Asia, Pacific region, etc. so that shipping costs from one reviewer to the next is kept low. FiiO will pay for shipping to the first reviewer and any customs taxes / import duties that may result from X1 2nd gen crossing countries.

•Please note that a Micro SD card will NOT be sent together with the X1 2nd gen review unit. Please prepare your own micro SD cards and music files for review purposes.

Review Terms and Regulations (subject to change before the tour commences):
•Reviewers can keep the review unit up to 10 days max before shipping to the next reviewer.
•Reviewers must ship the unit to the next reviewer via registered post requiring signature in the padded box provided.
•Reviewers will not be held responsible for any damage to the X1 2nd gen sustained during shipping or normal usage.

I would love to have a chance to listen to and write a review for the X1 2nd Generation.  I have long been a fan of your products (as you will see below with all the fiio products I own).  I have also written several reviews for products ranging for all budgets!  
 
Whether you choose me or not to review your new product I do want to commend you on creating what looks like a wonderful product.  I am always impressed by your innovation and willingness to collaborate with the Head-Fi community.  Keep up the good work!

I have several decades of experience in high(er)end Audio. I'm a real geek with IT, Electronics, domotica and (personal)AV. I've done some software development in the past, including a music player for use in Bars/Cafe/Disco.
 
My native language is Dutch, and I've been raised bilangual by my English mother. My hometown is near the capitol of the Netherlands; Amsterdam.
 
I've owned a variety of personal and professional audio equipment.

FiiO X1 and X3 2nd gen. iBasso DX90, Sandisk Sansa Clip zip. All Apple iPods, including Touch. Various Xduoo, and a few low end music players: Sony, Philips.
