Is the 13.6mm driver the same driver used on Jade Audio EA3?

Saw the BAs here no longer using knowles BA But instead custom own BA maybe to cut production cost.

Personally im interested since the Jade Audio EA3 is so underrated. Nobody got proper FR measurement yet?
No.

@Nimweth How this JH3 compared to Tri Starsea sir? Especially on imaging, details and resolution parts. I saw and read your reviews bout them but no comparison in between because this JH3 is still considered new contender.

Anyone has both also appreciate if can give more info.

Thanks in advance

The JH3 is a good performer in its price bracket, it might be described as "V shape done well". It has a powerful bass courtesy of the large DD, but there is a little bass bleed. Mids are warm and lively and there is some sharpness higher up moving into the treble. Treble itself is well extended but there can be a slight harsh aspect at times. The Starsea is far more refined. Bass is less prominent, even on the "Amazing Bass" setting, but the mids are very well tuned with the Knowles driver showing its quality. The treble is perhaps its best feature, very extended and open. Detail retrieval, separation, layering and imaging are all top class. The four switch settings really work. The Starsea is more than twice the price of the JH3 but it is in a different class. It has been in my top 5 IEMs since I first heard it. I hope this helps.

Exactly the comparison I was looking for, thanks for your insight.....
I`ve been circling around the Starsea for sometime now but never jumped on them. This maybe the time to actually try them. Thanks again.

I have been listening to the new Fiio x Jade Audio JH3. My immediate impression is of a lively, dynamic sound, with an overall profile of a gentle W shape, just on the bright side of neutral, with a powerful and well-textured bass with a bit of warmth, a clear and expressive midrange and a clean, crisp and extended treble with copious detail.

There is a "light and airy" quality which is refreshing. The soundstage is extensive and imaging precise, with separation very evident. There's a good balance between musicality and technical ability. Occasionally, the JH3 flirts with harshness and the tonality can be slightly unnatural, but this is infrequent and only occurs with certain genres and at higher volume. There is a touch of bass bleed into the midrange as well, but these are minor issues. Overall this is very impressive at the price. Definitely one for the shortlist.
Hi can I ask where you picked up yours from. I see for the .uk it's about £46 from advance. Can't find anymore sellers yet . Not on Amazon yet ? So these offers / deals iv read about only seem to be in the USA. Thanks . They do seem very simaler to my fiio fd1. And Fa1.

I started to search about this product again and came across two new reviews that are not in this thread

https://www.androidbrick.com/fiio-jade-audio-jh3-review/
"One of the best if not the best bass performance under 50$.
One of the best if not the best treble and soundstage performances under 50$.
One of the best if not the best quality box content under 50$."

https://nobsaudiophile.com/2022/03/31/fiio-jh3-review-all-about-high-resolution/
"The FIIO JH3 came into an audio market fullfill with ultra budget hybrid from competitors like KZ, BQEYZ, TRN. To some extend, they are both technically and tonaly superior to alot of them and proof that FIIO can be competitive in sub-100$ price range."

I have to admit that I am struck by some of the mixed reactions lol, even if in general they have good reviews.

The seller in UK did not book too many JH3 from us. Maybe it is out of stock now.
The JH3 is a Hybird headphone so it is different type comparing with FD1 or FA1.

The 2 treble balanced armature drivers used lead to superior treble resolution and expansion. The extended and robust bass comes with large dynamics, grand soundstage, and intensive vocals, helping to perfectly handle different music styles, including pop music and classical music.

Best regards

Bought this (accidentally or not) just because Jade Audio is underrated. Have EA3 and love that big DD that really moves air.
Will give my impressions here along with proper measurement later
