Sorry, guys, but I cannot see anything like in the screenshots above. I am on Android 12. I have upgraded to firmware 1.5 since this morning but nothing like that appears in my FiiO Control App. I am running version 3.6 and there are no other updates. Which version of the FiiO Control App are you running?

Unfortunately I can’t comment on Android. @behemothkat and I are on iOS. The app is version 1.2.1

Ah, okay, I see... Maybe we, on Android, have to wait a bit until the FiiO Control App will get updated.

I have successfully updated one of my UTWS5 to 1.5 Firmware, also done a Factory Reset, it works fine, but I do not see any changes, I do not see anything new in the FiiO Control App. Is this happening because the App needs an update, as well? If so, will this update come around Febru

Which version of the FiiO Control App do you have? On my Xiaomi Android phone, running Android 12, MIUI version 13.0.8, I cannot see anything like in your screenshots. I have checked for App updates but the latest I see on the Play Store is the version I already have, so version 3.6

Weird…the release notes on the latest FiiO control app indicate that PEQ was available specifically for UTW5. I was excited about this update but alas NOTHING in the control app has changed.

Hope they fix it after the new year.

I didn't make it clear that you need to upgrade your APP to the latest version, the latest version number of FiiO Control APP for Andriod is 3.7, while the version number of iOS version is 1.2.1
You can use these new PEQ features by using the new APP and then upgrading UTWS5 to the latest

Due to the different review time of different application markets, different phones may not be able to download the latest FiiO Control APP, Please wait a few days.

That makes sense as that was mentioned in the FW5 release notes as well.

You should be able to test multipoint though as that's app independent.

If you would like to try the PEQ function for the UTWS5. You could update the firmware for UTWS5 to V1.5(Download link: Click here)and update the FiiO Control APP to latest version first.

If there are any problem with the new firmware, you could downgrade the firmware first. (The download link of previous firmware: Click here) We will check the issue for you when we are back to work again in Jan. 29

just downloaded the android app.version 3.7 onto Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro. from this link below
http://fiio-firmware.fiio.net/FiiOControl/FiiOControl v3.7.apk and updated the UTWS5 to the 1.5 version and every thing works fine
including the Equalizer.

Latest Fiio Control 3.7 app was available straight from the Google Play store for me. Works fine with the supplied 1.5 firmware

Had to return my UTWS5 for the second time today because one of the charging pins stopped popping up and remains stuck down not making contact. Exact same problem as on my first set (though that was a different pin). I sincerely hope I just managed to get 2 from a batch with dodgy springs and can finally get one that will be reliable.

I haven't spilt anything on them and am always careful when putting the hooks in the case, only pressing down lightly to ensure the arms are in place. Both sets became quite finicky over charging after a couple of weeks and would require multiple insertions to get both indicators lit, so maybe that was a related issue.

Maybe the older model idea 3 rear pins should have been kept instead of the new 2pin rear & 1 up front.
