FiiO R7 All-In-One Desktop Android HiFi Music Player Discussion & Impressions Thread

I want to add - as someone who strongly prefers WIRED Ethernet over Wi-Fi whenever possible (basically any device that does not need to move around), I LOVE that the R7 has an Ethernet jack! YES! So much better for stationary devices.
AC power is great too, no concerns about battery drain etc if you are doing emails and playing music / multi-tasking.

FiiO devotes itself to providing solutions for enjoying music in different use scenarios. The R7 is designed to enjoy music from a variety of sound sources and media near the desktop in the office or at home with headphones or speakers. If you require more flexibility and convenience, our portable music players and DAC/Amps would be a better choice. In short, the R7 is an efficient, convenient HiFi hub for multiple device connections in single fixed use scenarios, while the 17 is an efficient, convenient hub for a single device connection in multi-scenarios.

Furthermore, we are not just designing a single device, but actually a complete set of solutions consisting of the desktop HiFi active speakers SP3, HiFi over-ear headphones FT3, multimedia keypad KB1, Bluetooth remote control, HiFi linear power supply PL50, etc.. These devices can build up a consistent and complementary system in function, appearance and sound performance around the R7. We haven't seen any brand/company with ideas like ours in this area yet.

In a sense, thanks to the R7's full range of connectors and powerful expansion functionality, we can also equip a monitor, a standard keyboard, and a mouse for it. In this way, the R7 can not only work as a music device, but also as a productivity tool and entertainment device for simple needs in the office and entertainment.

For me is must have solution. This is the reason for which my R7 is already on transit.
My only unknown is related to the line output ports on the back: there is any possibility now or in the future (via FW update) to switch on and off independently each output (RCA / XLR)?
I intend to use it only as desktop DAC / multimedia receiver and the output going to two different speaker systems. There are only minimal chances to use it as phone amplifier.
If there is someone who can help me in this regard...

Sorry the two RCA line out and XLR are connected to each other so it can't be turn on/off independently.

At least I hope that each one had his own output buffer and not tied in parallel by wire... To be tied in parallel by wires (RCA + RCA + positive rail of XLR) it will be dezastruos for any two systems connected in the same time to the back outputs.

Hello, there are someone else who has problems with tidal, I can't connect it, I received all the time connection error but the WiFi works perfectly.
Dear friend,

Please try to log out your Tidal account in other device and try the latest Tidal app for the R7 to see whether the issue remains?

Best regards
